Surgical Technology Clinical Expectations
Students are required to complete a minimum of 120 cases divided as follows: 30 in general surgery with 20 of those being in the first scrub role. In addition 90 cases should be in at least 5 different specialty areas with 60 of those being in the first scrub role and evenly divided among the 5 specialty areas with a maximum of 15 cases in any specialty. Please see the Surgical Technology instructor for more specific details.
