Computer training is designed to provide instructional opportunities for individuals to gain new and/or upgrade skills needed in the workforce.

Computer Skills for the Workplace

This course is designed to provide the fundamental computer competencies you need to survive and prosper in today’s fast-changing workplace. You will learn how to implement the powers of modern office software to work faster and more efficiently. We will focus on practical applications of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. When you finish this course, your will have learned why employers consider technological literacy so critical to the success of any organization.

Introduction to Personal Computers

This course offers basic computer concepts and vocabulary to help you become familiar with your PC. This course is designed for the beginning computer user to gain knowledge in computers and the Windows environment. Included will be basic file management, an overview of Microsoft Office software, and exploration of the Internet.

Introduction to MS Excel

Using both Excel 2016, as well as the changes in the 2019 version, students will learn to create, modify, and format Excel worksheets, perform calculations, manipulate data, and print Excel workbooks. Class will focus on using advanced formulas, working with lists, as well as illustrations and charts.

Digital Photography

Digital Photography – Adobe Light room

A beginning photography course to introduce students to basic aesthetic issues in image making as well as photographic techniques utilizing digital cameras, electronic image processing, and printing using Adobe Lightroom. (2.4 CEU)

Digital Photography – Adobe Photoshop

Teaches every tool in the toolbox and gives a firm understanding of Layers – Photoshop’s most powerful feature! Learn the tips and tricks that make using Layers a breeze. (2.4 CEU)
