2021 SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS CEREMONY

The 24th Annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony, originally planned for Thursday, November 4, 2021, in the Frank L. Eagles Community Business Center, was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of the incredible generosity and support of our donors, our students were still able to receive scholarships.

2020 SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS CEREMONY

The 23rd Annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony, originally planned for Thursday, November 12, 2020, in the Frank L. Eagles Community Business Center, was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In these unpredictable and unprecedented times, we are having to shift events and schedules, and we strive to adhere to our Governor’s and the CDC’s guidelines currently in place. Because of the incredible generosity and support of our donors, our students still receive scholarships.

2018 Local Unsung Heroes Banquet

The WCC Foundation hosted the first ever Unsung Heroes Banquet on October 18, 2018. We are so thankful for our sponsors. Thank you to our first responders for all you do! The Banquet was featured in the Wilson Times.

2018 Awards Luncheon for the 10th Edition of the Literary Review

The Literary Review Awards Luncheon was held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in the Frank L. Eagles Community Business Center. The students, faculty, and staff who were published in this year’s edition of the Wilson Literary Review enjoyed lunch provided by the WCC culinary department. Winners were awarded their prizes by contest judge Ellery Adams, a New York Times best selling author. The Wilson Literary Review is an annual publication supported by the Wilson Community College Foundation and the Wade A. Gardner, Jr. and Lonnie M. Chase Endowment for the Humanities. Fall 2017 Scholarship Awards Ceremony

The Wilson Community College Foundation held its 20th Annual Scholarship Luncheon on Thursday, November 9, 2017. Speakers included Ms. Carrie Wilson-Morris, a Paralegal Technology student, and Mr. Ken Jones, the Chairman of the Wilson Community College Board of Trustees.

Fall 2017 Scholarship Run
