Upon successful completion of this program, the student should be able to:

• Implement caring interventions incorporating documented best practices for individuals in diverse settings.
• Practice professional nursing behaviors incorporating personal responsibility and accountability for continued competence.
• Incorporate informatics to formulate evidence-based clinical judgments and management decisions.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with individuals, significant support person(s), and members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Manage health care for the individual using cost-effective nursing strategies, quality improvement processes, and current technology.

## Humanities/Fine Arts Electives – HUM 115, PHI 240

NOTES:

• NUR 112 will run the first 8 weeks of the semester. NUR 114 will run the second 8 weeks of the semester. NUR 112 must be passed in order to continue to the second 8 weeks.
• Once admitted into the program, all remaining courses must be taken in sequence or completed during the required term.
• If any facility prohibits the student from participating in the clinical experience, the student will be dismissed due to an inability to progress and complete the curriculum.
• Clinical hours vary each semester based upon the availability of clinical sites.

East Carolina University College of Nursing Partnership

ENC Regionally Increasing Baccalaureate Nurses (RIBN) provides students with a four-year option in which they complete an Associate Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

The aRIBN program provides a three-year nursing option that concurrently enrolls students in a Community College and a University — where they complete both their Associate Degree in Nursing and Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

The Career and College Promise (CCP) Program provides opportunities for eligible high school students to start college early, where courses can count for dual credit (credit in the high school and college at the same time), all TUITION-FREE! CCP students accelerate completion of college certificates, diplomas, and associate degrees that provide entry-level job skills and/or lead to college transfer credit. 

Graduates of this program are eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN).
